Requirements

WordPress and server #

• WordPress 6.0 or later.
• PHP 7.4 or later.
• HTTPS on all live donation, ticketing, donor portal, and check-in pages.
• WordPress pretty permalinks are strongly recommended.
• JavaScript enabled in the visitor’s browser.
• Outbound HTTPS requests from WordPress to the GiveBlocks Platform API and Stripe.
• A working WordPress email delivery configuration.

Payment processing #

• A Stripe account owned by the organization receiving funds.
• A completed GiveBlocks site claim.
• A Stripe account connected separately for each payment mode the organization uses.

Volunteer check-in #

• A modern phone, tablet, or computer browser.
• Camera permission for QR scanning.
• HTTPS, which browsers require for camera access and PWA features.
• An initial internet connection to sign in, select an event, and download its guest list before operating offline.
