Open GiveBlocks > Campaigns, then create a new campaign.
Select a campaign type #
- Donation Form collects contributions.
- Ticketing Event sells ticket tiers and add-ons.
The campaign type is locked after the campaign is created. Create a new campaign if the wrong type was selected.
Common campaign fields #
Campaign Title #
The public title shown on the form or event.
Custom Campaign Key / ID #
A unique slug-style identifier such as annual-drive or spring-gala. It is used by shortcodes and direct campaign URLs.
Use lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens. Do not reuse a key from another campaign.
Campaign Header Image / Banner #
Choose an image from the WordPress Media Library. Event direct pages display this image prominently.
Description / Body Copy #
Supports formatted content through the WordPress editor. Use it for campaign details, schedules, mission information, venue guidance, or ticket descriptions.
Appearance #
Form Layout #
- Individual sections displays separate cards/panels.
- Single solid form combines the interface into one panel.
Corner Style #
- Rounded corners
- Square corners
Custom Highlight Color #
Controls campaign accents, selected amounts, buttons, and other highlighted elements unless overridden by a block.
Goal and fee display #
Fundraising Goal #
Enter the intended amount in dollars.
Show goal on this form #
Displays the raised amount, target, percentage, and progress indicator. A goal amount must be present for meaningful progress.
Allow supporters to cover fees #
Shows or hides the optional fee-coverage choice at checkout.
Volunteer roles #
Add optional roles such as:
- Event Usher
- Registration Desk
- Setup Crew
- Speaker
- Cleanup Crew
For event purchases, the volunteer role is recorded for the individual attendee who selects it. The attendee’s role is shown in transaction details, tickets, the donor portal, volunteer check-in lists, and check-in details.
Campaign status #
- Active allows the campaign to render and accept checkout activity.
- Draft / Closed prevents the public form from being used.
