Installation

Install from WordPress.org #

1. Sign in to WordPress as an administrator.
2. Open Plugins > Add New Plugin.
3. Search for GiveBlocks Donation & Events Platform.
4. Select Install Now.
5. Select Activate.

Install from a ZIP file #

1. Sign in to WordPress as an administrator.
2. Open Plugins > Add New Plugin.
3. Select Upload Plugin.
4. Choose giveblocks-donation-events-platform.zip.
5. Select Install Now.
6. Select Activate Plugin.

If WordPress reports that the destination folder already exists, remove the old GiveBlocks plugin folder using the WordPress Plugins screen or hosting file manager before installing the ZIP. Do not remove the folder unless a current backup exists.

What activation creates #

Activation creates the GiveBlocks database tables and the volunteer check-in role/capability. It also registers the campaign and volunteer check-in URL rules.

If a GiveBlocks URL returns 404 immediately after activation, open Settings > Permalinks and select Save Changes once.
